      As one of the Original Gospel Mobile DJs, Dr. Duane "Dr. D." Knight celebrates 50 years of pioneering Gospel DJ culture, music ministry, and community impact. Long before Gospel music received mainstream support, Dr. D. and five fellow visionaries took Gospel music directly to the streets, helping introduce new artists, build audiences, and create platforms where Gospel music could thrive.

      Widely recognized as the "Father of the Gospel DJ Movement," Dr. D.'s legacy includes founding groundbreaking Gospel events, launching innovative radio programming, creating opportunities for Christian DJs nationwide, and mentoring generations of Gospel music professionals. His influence helped shape the modern Gospel DJ culture through radio, skating events, live promotions, music conferences, and record pools.

      This 50-Year Anniversary celebrates a lifetime dedicated to advancing Gospel music, empowering Gospel DJs, and inspiring communities through the Five-Fold Ministry of the Gospel DJ: Release, Replay, Remix, Reproduce, and Rejuvenate. Dr. D.'s enduring impact continues to resonate across the Gospel music industry and beyond.
